Dickerman, Buddy Bryan's Obituary
Buddy Dickerman passed away on January 11, 2025, just a month shy of his 85th birthday, February 6. Although Buddy passed away in Spring Hill, FL he hailed from New York and also lived many years in San Diego, CA before moving to the west coast of FL.
Buddy had married twice, but found true love in his wife Sharon (King), who predeceased him.
Buddy was the son of the late Emil Dickerman and Sylvia (Levinson) Dickerman.
Buddy was a terrific man who loved people and the sea alike. He leaves behind a number of wonderful friends and was lucky to have them, and they lucky to have him. He was a gentle soul, a sweet man who loved to give everyone a hard time with his unusual sense of humor.
Buddy served in the US Coast Guard and was a proud American. He loved being on the water and lived many years in San Diego on his boat where he enjoyed every moment. He also was a Yacht Salesman, which is no surprise.
Buddy leaves behind a second cousin who played an integral role in his life. Robyn (Levy) Crist, her husband Matt, and sons Shane and Ryan, lived in NY, San Diego and then in FL together and were very close. Buddy and his first cousins had a special bond, as he was an only child. Those cousins include Billy (Linda) Dickerman, Bobby (Arnie) Levy, and Sheila (Bob) Greenblatt who all pre-deceased him. The first cousins’ children include Robyn (Levy) Crist, Rick Levy, Marc Greenblatt and Keith Greenblatt.
A memorial service will be held on February 23, 2025 at 1:30pm at Grace Memorial Funeral Home.
