Bruce A Furtado's Obituary
Bruce A. Furtado, 54 of New Port Richey, Fl. passed away May 19, 2016. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4 – 6 pm and a Celebration of His Life will take place at Grace Memorial Funeral Home at 6 pm. A native of New Bedford, Mass. He came to the area 2005 and enjoyed fishing as well being an avid New England Patriot’s and Boston Red Sox fan. Bruce served in the U.S. Marine Corp. and was a Catholic. He was a Chief Building Engineer working in property management. He was predeceased by his father Earl Gifford. Survivors include his loving wife Sharon; son, Derek Furtado of New Port Richey, Fl.; daughter Jessica Furtado and husband Nelson Santo of Trinity, FL; mother Teresa Gifford of Dartmouth, Mass; 2 brothers, Robert Furtado of New Bedford, Mass and Russell Furtado of Fairhaven, Mass; 2 grandchildren, Aubrey and Lucas. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Moffitt Cancer Center https://moffitt.org/give-back/donate/ in memory of Bruce.
