Brigida Perez's Obituary
Brigida Perez, 75, of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021. Brigida was born in Piddig, Philippines, to the late Manuel and Felicidad Guerrero. She attended Ilocos Norte High School, the University of the Philippines, and the Philippine Women's University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1970. She was a Registered Nurse and dedicated public servant with over 23 years of service at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Full of compassion, vivacity, and with a contagious laugh, Brigida was an avid world traveler who loved taking care of others through her generosity and passion for cooking. Brigida is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Butchi, and her husband Carlos. She is survived by her brother Boy, son Karl, son Daryl and his wife Cathy, and grandchildren Damian and Makayla. A viewing will be held on Sunday, September 12, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Grace Memorial Funeral Home. A mass will be held on Monday, September 13, at 1:00 PM at Saint Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, and interment will take place at Grace Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, October 13.
