Brenda was a beautiful, gentle soul who carried the heart of a mother and grandmother to everyone she met. She cared deeply for others, always putting their needs above her own. Her strength, grace, and resilience left a lasting mark on all who were blessed to know her. Brenda’s legacy of love, kindness, and faith will forever live on through the lives she touched.
One of Brenda’s greatest joys in life was her family. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren with an unconditional, unwavering love that knew no bounds. She was their biggest supporter, their constant encourager, and their safe place to land. Brenda was endlessly proud of each of them, she loved to brag about their accomplishments, share their stories, and light up at the mention of their names. Her family was her heart, and she poured her love into them every single day.
She and her husband, James, shared a marriage that beautifully reflected God’s covenant—steadfast, loving, and rooted in faith. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, family, and countless cherished memories. After beginning their life together in Michigan, they fulfilled a dream by building their forever home in Florida, where they spent their later years surrounded by sunshine, family, and friends.
A devoted follower of Jesus Christ, Brenda was an active member of Rapha House, where she built a close relationship with Pastor Russ and Nancy. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her every step and shining through her every action.
Brenda’s smile and laughter could light up any room. Her warmth made everyone feel welcome, and her home was a place of love, good food, and fellowship. Known for her delicious cooking especially here biscuits and gravy, impeccable style, and radiant presence, she never went anywhere without her hair and makeup perfectly done—right up until her final days.
Brenda Sue Champion was a true example of a pure, good-hearted individual—graceful, faithful, and full of love. Though her absence leaves a void that cannot be filled, her spirit and the memories she created will remain with us always.
