Betty Lou Bennett's Obituary
Betty Lou Sweet – Bennett, 93, of Spring Hill, FL passed away April 16, 2023. A native of Chicago, IL she worked as an elevator operator and later was a restaurant manager. Betty moved to Spring Hill in the 1960’s and continued to work for Walgreens'. She was a member of St Theresa Catholic Church, the American Legion Post # 186 where she served as Chaplain, and VFW Post # 10209 where she served as a Past-President of the Women’s Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frederick Vernon Sweet. She remarried and was preceded by Lewis R. Bennett. Survivors include her 3 daughters, Pamela, Deborah, and Gwen: 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
