Bertha Roos' Obituary
Roos, Bertha (Bert) passed away peacefully on March 26, 2013 at the age of 92. She was born in Brooklyn, New York on February 28, 1921. She moved to Homestead, Florida in the late 40's where she met her husband, Cletus (Clete) Roos. They enjoyed a long and happy marriage of 47 years. They owned a successful Boarding Kennel in Eau Gallie, Florida for many years. She and Clete moved to Weeki Wachee, Florida in 1983. Prior to moving she and Clete spent many years traveling all over the United States. Her loving husband passed away in 1995.She was a very generous lady who donated too many charities such as the Veteran and the Humane Society to name a few. She loved crocheting, quilting and made many beautiful crafts.She is survived by 2 nephews, John Harris and John Scully, 2 nieces, Karen Teegarden and Sandra Salinas. Her ashes will be interred at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida where her husband is buried.
