Bernard J. Jaffraint's Obituary
Bernie Joseph Jaffraint was born on February 21st, 1949 in Voluntown, CT. He moved to Hudson, FL, in 1989 to become a hotel broker. He was full of love, laughter, perfect hair and always had a huge grin on his face. His happiness was contagious and he was always the life of the party. Whether he was telling stories or jokes, everyone enjoyed listening to him. His love for life and that life would not beat him was apparent in the way he lived it to the fullest.Bernie enjoyed eating turkey legs at Disney, seafood, especially from Connecticut and he would expect perfection at the restaurants he dined out in. He liked watching his favorite shows, Apprentice and Survivor, as well as English movies, including the Mid-Somer Murder mini-series. He was a big fan of Donald Trump and talking about Trump's accomplishments. His favorite activity of all is golfing. He would've golfed every day if time permitted and is probably golfing in heaven now. Whatever he was doing, you can be sure that he was having the time of his life. Bernie's surviving wife, Lynda fondly referred to him as " Bear " as he was her rock and strength. He had a strong personality with the ability to see the bright side of life in every situation. Life was too short to complain. Bernie always mentioned how he was so happy to be a part of our family, but we consider ourselves the lucky ones to have been blessed to know him. He went to heaven to be with the Lord on Sunday, May, 1st, 2011. We will miss him dearly.Bernie is survived by his spouse, Lynda Jaffraint, his daughter, Tammy Matlock, his son-in-law, James Matlock, his step-daughter, Melissa Garner, his step-son, Mark Maniscola and three grandchildren, Skylin Garner, Halle Maniscola and Anthony Maniscola.A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May, 12th, 2011 at 10 am at Grace Memorial Funeral Home, 16931 U.S. Hwy. 19Hudson, Florida, 34667, 727-863-5471Donations may be made in Bernie's memory at: HPH Hospice , 12107 Majestic Blvd., Hudson, Fl, 34667
