ZUKE (Webb), Barbara L. 72, of Port Richey FL (formerly Ashtabula, Ohio), died peacefully Thursday with her husband at her side. She leaves her husband John of 52 years; Daughter, Lisa D'Itri of Fort Myers; Son, John (Jocelyn) Zuke of Winter Garden; Grandchildren, Carlo D'Itri of West Hollywood, CA, Melissa D'Itri of Bonita Springs, FL, John Zuke of Winter Garden, FL, and Jacob Zuke of Winter Garden FL; Brother Terry (Marilyn Joy) Webb of Fairfield Glades, TN. She was predeceased by her parents James and Betty Jean Webb (Osgood) and her daughter Jennifer Anne at birth.Born in Meadville, PA she was a resident of Ashtabula for 45 years before moving to Florida. She attended Ashtabula High School and soon married her husband John.Barb worked diligently until just months before she died as a Certified Nurse's Assistant (CNA). Barb cherished the patients that she cared for and treated them as if they were family. She was always referred by word of mouth because of the excellent care that she gave.Barb loved to live life to the fullest by going to the beach, taking cruises, and spending time with her husband, John. They were very rarely apart. She was a member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary 6180. Barb could never meet enough friends who also thought the world of her.In honor of her passion for taking care of the terminally ill and then being cared for herself, donations can be made to HPH Hospice, 6807 Rowan Rd, New Port Richey FL. 34653.At Barbara's request, services will be private with her final resting place to be in Florida National Cemetery.
