Barbara Jean Lombardi's Obituary
Barbarajean Patricia Lombardi (Our Sissy), 18, As a recent graduate, Barbarajean saw the world for all that it could be. She lived her life as a vibrant force of goodness, sharing love and positivity with everyone she encountered. On the evening of September 16th, 2021, Barbarajean and her heroic best friend, Tommy Dixon, were tragically taken from our lives in a senseless act of violence.
As 1 of 8 in her family, outnumbered by her brothers, Barabajean defined what it meant to be an amazing sister. So much so, she became sis, shish, sissy, sista-girl, and any other sisterly nicknames you can think of in the hearts of all of her people.
Wise beyond her years, Barbarajean prioritized the life experiences that really matter; time with family and loved ones, inner-peace and self-care, spontaneous adventures, and watching beach days turn into starry nights with sunsets in between. She embodied the kindness in humanity that makes this world beautiful, seeing the best in everyone and using her compassion, empathy, curiosity, and faith to inspire hope in everyone she was surrounded by.
Barbarajean had aspirations to pursue furthering her education, building her own custom tiny home, and embarking on adventures around the world. As she passes forward into her next adventure, she joins our father Mark Nelson and leaves this world with a loving mother, Barbarajean Lombardi, and her remaining 7 siblings; Eric, Robert, Cassie, Mark, Austin, Luke, and Patrick.
We have confirmed the funeral service for Tuesday, September 21st at Faith Christian Academy in Spring Hill, FL. You are invited to join us from 3:00 pm-6:00 pm for the public viewing and 6:00 pm-7:00 pm for the funeral service.

Or, in lieu of flowers/gifts, please consider contributing to the Lombardi family gofundme campaign. Additional support to this Gofundme initiative will be going directly to my family, prioritizing the mental health and wellness resources needed to recover.
