Barbara Kujawa's Obituary
Barbara Kujawa, 102, of Weeki Wachee, Florida passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2012. She was six weeks shy of her next birthday. She was born in Iron River, Michigan to Walter Zawacki and Josephine Rusilowski. As a child she worked in a sugar beet factory on the conveyer belts. After graduating from High School she worked in a department store and enjoyed her daily lunch at Woolworth. Barbara took pleasure yard work and was known for her beautiful flowers. She was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church for 30 years and was a very devout Catholic, always involved in the woman's leagues. She was a member and promoter of the Miraculous Medal Society and active with the Woodland Waters Ladies group. She loved to make various crafts and had an eye for color and patterns. Many a Christmas tree are adorn with ornaments she loving made for her family. An avid reader, she was fond of a good harlequin romance novel. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Aloysius Kujawa, four sisters and great grandson Luke.She is survived by sons Eugene Kujawa of Dearborn Height, Michigan; Paul Kujawa and wife Donna of West Bloomfield, Michigan; Marion Kujawa and wife Delphine of Livonia, Michigan; daughter Shirley Switala and husband James of Weeki Wachee, Florida; 13 grandchildren across the USA, 21 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00pm Sunday, October 21, 2012 with a wake service at 7:00pm located at Grace Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be 9:30am Monday, October 22, 2012 at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Spring Hill, Florida. Burial will follow to Grace Memorial Gardens in Hudson, Florida.
