I will miss my grandmother more than words can say. She was strong, sharp-witted, and wonderfully stubborn in all the ways that made her her. Even as dementia changed pieces of her world, her personality still shone through--the feistiness, the little smiles, the moments of connection that reminded us she was still in there fighting.
I’m grateful for every visit, every story she shared, every time she squeezed my hand a little tighter. She taught me what resilience looks like, and she faced each chapter of her life with a grace all her own.
Thank you to everyone who cared for her and supported our family along the way. Her impact on our lives is immeasurable, and she will always be remembered with love.
