Arthur Fred Liska's Obituary
Arthur Fred Liska, 91, of Brooksville, FL passed away peacefully on Saturday March 18th, 2017. Arthur was born in Johnstown, New York to Rudolph and Elizabeth Liska on February 21st, 1926. He was employed in the construction field as a plumber for many years. Arthur served in the U.S. Army during WWII, Battle of the Bulge, Command Sgt Major Army reserves, 464th Engineering.
He was a Catholic by Faith and was a member of St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church where he served as a church usher. Past president of FMCA Empire and Snowbird chapters. Arthur was predeceased by his loving wife Beatrice Liska, sister Betty Suchy and grandson Christopher. Survived by, sister Margaret Furman, Daughters Cheryl Murphy-Parant(Kate), Patty DelSorbo (Tony) and Anne Donlon ,Son Patrick Liska(Jami). 9 grandchildren 1 great-grandson. Many nieces, nephews and friends. Interment will follow in Schenectady, New York.
