Anthony J DeMattei's Obituary
Anthony "Tony" James DeMattei was born May 23,1949, in Brooklyn, New York. He was the son of Anthony and Anna DeMattei. The family lived in Brooklyn, N.Y before moving to Elmont, Long Island. As a young boy Anthony and his family moved to Newtown, Connecticut. Tony graduated from Immaculate High School in Danbury, CT, where he played football as an outstanding right tackle. He would say, " I am #83 on the scorecard, but #1 in your heart." ❤️
Tony was employed at Teleprompter Cable in Danbury, and then accepted a position as projects manager for Cablevision in Queens, New York. Upon retirement, he relocated to Hudson Florida.
Anthony is survived by his sister Anna Marie, son James Reynolds, nephews Emmett Kinsella and Devin Kinsella, also great niece Arya Rin Kinsella, and many dear friends.
He is predeceased by his parents, wife Laura, and daughter Danae Michelle.
Services will be held at a later date.
