Anne Smith Youngflesh's Obituary
Anne Smith Youngflesh, 95, of Brooksville, FL. passed away August 22, 2015 at home while under the care of her loving family and HPH Hospice. Funeral Services will be held Thursday 2:00 PM at Grace Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 1:00 PM. Born in Rovito, Italy to Luigi and Filomenia (Iusi) Crocco. Anne was Christian by faith and was homemaker and loving wife to Harry Smith. She worked several jobs to help support the family in retail and waitressing in Wisconsin. They came to Florida in 1972 from Wisconsin to enjoy their retirement. Harry preceded her in death in 1980. Anne later met and married Joe Youngflesh and they celebrated several years of dancing and great music with Ed’s Salmon String Band until he passed in 2002. She is also preceded in death by her siblings, John Crocco, Joseph Crocco, Patricia Crocco and Rose Nelson. Survivors include her son, Jerry Smith and wife Andrea of Racine, WI; 5 daughters, Emily LaMond and husband Bruce of Brooksville, FL. Gloria Taylor and husband Bill of Las Cruces, NM. Judy Andersen and husband Andy of Brooksville, FL. Carol Yaekel and husband Hardy of Holiday, FL. and Kathy Prahl and husband Richard of St. Charles, MO.; 3 step-daughters, Patricia, Florence and Frances; 2 sisters Marietta Smith of Jacksonville, FL. and Lucy McNaughton of of Racine, WI; 22 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren.
