Our hearts and prayers go out to Chad and all of your family. It’s impossible for me to think of Anita and not smile. When I met her in 2006, she was running from one side of the room to the other and back again…And managed to check on every person in her path along the way. She made everything so much easier for my family and I. My now adult kids remember her as the lady who showed them around, gave them books and treats, and turned on SpongeBob for them. They thought I was back there having parties on treatment days and that’s exactly what they needed back then. As much as I dreaded treatments, I looked forward to going in and talking with everyone in the office. I never once made it out of that treatment room without getting a hug. When Anita asked my husband and I to do wedding photos I was thrilled at the thought of being able to do something so special for her and Chad. A very small way to try and repay her for all the talks, the hugs, the, “You’re gonna be okay’s.” She was always taking care of everyone around her. Always smiling. Always loving. ❤️
