I am wondering if this is the same Angelo Cuomo who lived in Encino, in th e San Fernando Valley, in Los Angeles back in the late 1970s or early 80s, with one of his sisters and his mom and dad.

He was nice kid. Quiet, but he could be really funny at times. We all wento to Mulholland Junior High School. But it was only for a year or so and then he and his family moved back to New York (Diker Heights?).

Anyway, the photo looks like it could be the same person, 45 years later.

My sincere condolences to the Cuomo family, relatives and friends. At Saint Bernadette's Church in Brooklyn NY, during the daily mass, I have made a one week offering of the Altar's Bread and Wine, in memory of Angelo. Where do I begin. I met Bubby in ‘91 when I started dating his sister , and we hit it off right away. From that day forward , we were like brothers. Sponge ball games and football games in the park with his friends , Bubby accepted me as family. He was a good man with a huge heart and the funniest person I know . I loved having him around and looked forward to holidays with him. He and I worked at transit together and my co workers loved him right away. He had nicknames for everyone , and that meant he liked you. Bubby will always have a place in my heart and I will always miss my brother and my friend.

I’m heartbroken at the loss of my uncle. I remember trips to Wawa when he was living with us. He loved Wawa and would always talk about it. And when we played board games with my grandmother, I never had more fun with 2 of my favorite people. I remember when I brought Lola home and she ran across his face and he was shocked. He kept saying, “I love this cat.” Or when we’d pass by the hotel “Knights Inn” and he’d always say, “I LOVE this hotel.” Snake Plisskin, Floatilla… “crop dusting” in the casino. I will miss him SO much. And I’ve told my fiancé Shyianne so many stories.. I am heartbroken she’ll never get to meet him. Uncle Bub, I love you always and I will miss you so much.
