Angelina D'Ambrosio's Obituary
Angelina D'Ambrosio was born on April 14, 1921 in the Bronx, NY. The daughter of Eugene and Lena Baldoni, she learned at a young age to work hard and put your best efforts into anything you do, and you can accomplish anything. Along with her sister, Eleanor, and her brother, Eugene, they all surpassed in academic achievements and were honored by having their names inscribed on the wall of their local High School in the Bronx.
Angelina met her husband, Angelo D'Ambrosio in the Bronx, where their families lived in the same building. They married on August 31, 1941, on Angelo's birthday, and were married for 74 years. After leaving the Bronx, they moved to Massapequa, Long Island, NY, in order to enjoy a peaceful life in the suburbs. They were there for many years, as she was surrounded by her family, which brought her much happiness.
However, after enduring the cold winters for so many years, they decided to move to Florida in the early 70's. They settled in Hudson, Florida, bringing Angelina's widowed mother with them to begin this new life. They soon became members of the local Baptist Church, and thus began their journey of living to honor and serve The Lord. This new experience filled their lives with purpose, and strengthened their unity as a couple.
Although Angelina never had children of her own, she was a second mother to Eleanor and Eugene's children. She always remembered them on their birthdays and Christmas, acknowledging the occasion with a little surprise filled with her loving blessings and good wishes. She will always be remembered lovingly by her family as "Aunt Angie", for her gentle, kind, and nurturing ways.
Angelina is survived by her beloved husband, Angelo, her nephews, Vic Romano & his wife, Debra, Chip Baldoni, and his sister, Lauren Baldoni McConnell. She is also survived by great nephews and nieces, John Angeli, Jennifer Carscadden, Lea Pentogenis, Christopher Romano, Eleanor Hammers, and Frank Romano. There are also several great, great nephews and nieces, who will never have the privilege of knowing this remarkable woman. She will be Forever In Our Hearts!
