Mr. Alvin Eugene Golnik's Obituary
Mr. Alvin Eugene Golnik, 83, of New Port Richey passed away on August 14, 2021. He was born October 14, 1937 in South Beaver, Pennsylvania to Alexander and Martha Golnik. In his youth, he enjoyed helping his grandfather on the farm during breaks from school. He loved his family dearly. He counted the birth of his children, and marriage to his wife as some of his proudest moments. Alvin was an entrepreneur, owning a trucking business, retail store, and tv shop. He was a dedicated civil servant, serving as a Councilman and Firefighter Koppel, Pennsylvania. In his free time, he enjoyed computers and flying model airplanes.
Alvin left an indelible mark on those he met. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of over 65 years, Jenny Golnik; daughter Diane Wilk, daughter Mary Desanzo and her husband David, daughter Kathy Anderson and her husband Rodger, daughter Sandy Mastrogiuseppe and her husband Chris, son Alvin Golnik, Jr and his wife Brenda; grandchildren Jennifer and her husband Tim, Paul Michael, Theresa and her husband David, Missy, Carrie and her husband Tony, David and his wife Shannon, Susanna and her husband Adam, Chris and his wife Kelly, Joshua, Chris Jr and his wife Amanda, Jessica, Nicholas and his wife Karlie, Zachariah, Luke and his wife Brittany , Elijah, and Rachel' 28 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
A Viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 18 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at Grace Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral will begin at 1:30 PM, and will be followed by Interment at Grace Memorial Gardens.
