Alice Barnes' Obituary
Alice Wadene Barnes, age 83, of Chattanooga, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020, in Springhill, Florida.
She was born in Chattanooga, TN to the late Wade and Lois Travis Fisher. Alice was retired from Erlanger Medical Center. She was a member Silverdale Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Joseph Barnes; son Michael Dyar; and a sister, Norma Walker.
Alice is survived by her life partner of 15 years, Glen “Jack” Weaver; son, Phillip Gregory Dyar; granddaughter, Ferris (Kenny) McCurry; great grandchildren, Jacob Dale, Scarlett Faith, and Alice Sage McCurry; sister, Iris Tapley.
The family will receive friends from 11 am till 1 pm on Monday, October 26, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Alice will follow at 1 pm on Monday, at the North Chapel with Deacon Leonard Villalpando officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
