Alfredo Acebey's Obituary
Alfredo Acebey, 77, of Spring Hill, Florida passed away at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2022 at his residence.
Breve Reseña Historia
Alfredo Acebey, nació el 15 de Enero de 1945 en Uncia, Bolivia. Sus padres Fueron Hilario Acebey y Alina J Rahola, quienes engendraron cinco hijos: Aída, Beatriz, Alfredo, Hugo y Lidia.
Cuando tenía 25 anos de edad, estando radicando en Santiago de Chile, tomó la decisión más trascendental de su vida, entregando su corazón a nuestro Señor Jesucristo el 10 de Septiembre de 1970.
Fue predicador itinerante, cantante y compositor, lo que lo llevó a conocer 18 naciónes tanto en sur y centro América, el Caribe y España.
Fundó en la ciudad de México el grupo musical “Los del camino” con quienes grabó varios discos. Posteriormente se transladó a la frontera, a la ciudad de Reynosa Tamaulipas para trabajar como supervisor de una casa Hogar de ninos, lugar donde conoció a la que fue su esposa, la hermana Ilda Vásquez con quién estuvo casado por 40 años , quienes engendraron dos hijos, Elizabeth y David, más una hija de un anterior matrimonio, Ana Betzabe.
Ya cuando crecieron sus hijos, se casaron Elizabeth, con Juan Moreno, Anita, con Willy Abreu y David con Victoria Jiménez, de quienes nacieron 8 hijos: Priscilla, Christián, Daniela, Gabriela, Valeria, Wilberto Jr, Betzabe, Kal-el y Alejandro. Priscilla , la nieta mayor se casó con Bryan Izquierdo, de quienes vino Moisés, el unico bisnieto.
En su larga trayectoria ministerial, Dios por medio de su Espíritu Santo le dio la inspiración para ponerle música a la Biblia habiendo grabado centenares de cánticos en distintos estilos musicales, muchos de ellos acompañados con su charango, lo que le permitió en México ser conocido por el nombre cariñoso de el hermano del charango.
Vivió un tiempo corto en Texas y Nuevo México con su familia, y de ahí emigraron a la Florida donde establecieron primeramente en Dade City, y después se trasladaron a Spring Hill. Fue aquí donde falleció el sábado 21 de mayo del 2022.
Por la gracia de Dios, nuestro hermano Acebey dejó este mundo para irse a encontrar con su amado Salvador Jesucristo, quien dijo: “Yo soy la resurrección y la vida; el que cree en mi, aunque esté muerto vivirá. Y todo aquel que vive y cree en mi, no morirá eternamente.” San Juan 11:25-26. Amén !Aleluya!
Alfredo Acebey was born on January 15, 1945 in Uncia- Bolivia. His parents were Hilario Acebey and Alina Acebey Irahola. They had five children: Aida, Beatriz, Alfredo, Hugo and Lidia.
When he was 25 years old, he was living in Santiago Chile, where he made the most important decision in his life, by giving his heart to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 10, 1970.
He was a preacher, singer, composer, which took him to visit 18 nations in South and Central America, the Caribbean and Spain.
He founded the musical group called “Los del Camino” in Mexico City, with whom he recorded several albums. Later on, he moved to the border, to the city of Reynosa Tamaulipas to work as a supervisor of a Children Home. There he met, Ilda Vasquez, to whom he was married for 40 years. Together they had two children: Elizabeth and David, and another daughter from his previous marriage , Ana Betzabe.
When his children got older they got married: Elizabeth to Juan Moreno, Anita to Wilberto Abreu, David to Victoria Jimenez. All together they had nine children: Priscilla, Jose Christian, Daniela, Gabriela, Valeria, Wilberto Jr, Betzabe, Kal-el, Alejandro. Priscilla married Bryan Izquierdo, and they had Moises, his only great gran son.
On his long ministry service, God, thru his Holy Spirit gave him the inspiration to put music to the Holy scriptures. He recorded hundreds of songs in different music styles and many of them with his charango, which gave him the endearing name “the brother with the charango” in Mexico.
He lived a short time in Texas and New Mexico with his family, from there they moved to Florida. First they lived in Dade City and then moved to Spring Hill were he passed away Saturday May 21,2022.
By the grace of God, our brother Acebey has left this world to unite with his loving Savior Jesus Christ, who said” I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. John 11:25-26
Visitation will be Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 12:00 to 1:00 at Grace Memorial Funeral Home, in Hudson. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Funeral Home with Pastor Alex Torres officiating. Burial will follow in Grace Memorial Gardens.
