Alan R. Koss' Obituary
Alan R. Koss of Wildwood, Florida passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 10, 2015, at the age of 69 years. Alan grew up in Dedham, Massachusetts and is the son of Francis I. Koss and Stephen J. Koss, Sr., both deceased.
Alan, leaves behind his brother Stephen J. Koss Jr., of Millis Massachusetts and His beloved niece, Cyndi Koss of Wellesley, Massachusetts and his prized nephews, Jeffrey D. Koss of Walpole, Massachusetts and Stephen J. Koss, 3rd of Sydney, Australia. His great nieces and nephews are: Mira Nakhle, Anthony Nakhle, Aidan Koss, and Amy Koss.
Alan Graduated from The University of Connecticut and went on to get his Masters Degree from New York University. He spent his early years teaching underprivileged children in New York’s, inner city. He was brilliant, creative and highly sensitive.
He followed this by developing his artistic side at The Mass College of Art. He loved animals, ice hockey, Auto racing and had a passion for foreign cars. Alan was a very intense, compassionate and caring individual. He will be missed by all those he touched. His powerful and beautiful works of art will live on.
