Alan Wayne Kolar, age 75 of Spring Hill passed away Friday December 6, 2024 at the HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville, FL. He was born in Chicago, IL. to Robert J. and Marilyn (Pettis) Kolar. He came to this area 22 years ago from his native Chicago, IL. Before retirement he owned a Fork Lift Company in Chicago, IL. After he moved to this area he was a volunteer at Tampa General Hospital in Brooksville and served as the president of the volunteer group for 6 years. He also served as the rifle safety office at the Hernando County Sports Club for many years. he was a car enthusiast and he served his country in the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years Diane, sons Brendan and Ryan Callahan, daughters Meghan Callahan and Paige Kolar, brothers Daniel and Robert Kolar and granddaughter Penelope Callahan-Climan.
