Agnes Marie Sanderson's Obituary
Agnes Marie Sanderson, 89, of Hudson passed away on November 18, 2022. She was born November 29, 1932 in Roanoke, Virginia to the late Robert Lee and Virginia Ferris. Agnes was a Baptist by faith. She was a woman of many talents and interests. Over the years she worked as a Retail Entrepreneur, owning Marie’s Furniture and Quality Gifts. She also worked in retail, banking, and at one point, a Crossing Guard. She developed the historic Stonehurst Inn Bed and Breakfast in Emmitsburg, Maryland, which she owned and operated for 25 years. Agnes moved to Florida from Maryland in 1994.
Agnes is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Matthew Sanderson (2014). She is survived by her children Donald Lee and Donna Marie, brother Golden Ferris, and sister Joyce Wyatt.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 10 at Grace Memorial Funeral Home from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM, followed by entombment at Grace Memorial Gardens.
