Kathy Proctor died peacefully at her home in Hudson on September 24th with her husband and two daughters by her bedside. A native of Long Island, NY, Kathy came to Florida in 1985 and taught for many years at John D Floyd Element Read Obituary
Kathy and Doug met us at Edinburgh airport when We went to St. Andrews. Bob wanted to play a couple of the world famous golf courses. I appreciatedthat Kathy accompanied Doug to the airport, even tho she didn't know us that well. we stopped for lunch on our way to St. Andrews from the airport, and capped off the day nicely. warmly, jill and bob
Kathy would light up the room with her beautiful and vibrant smile and joy. She was the accompanist for our women chorale at AAUW and greatly cherished. She was a fine musician --a beautiful person -- a dynamic Christian with a generous heart and laughter. It was my privilege to know her -- to teach her amazing daughters in Babylon and celebrate her light. She's making beautiful music with the angels now -- she will always live in our hearts❤️🎉❤️

One of Kathy's last wishes was that we find Jayson a new piano teacher - her dedication to God, the church, music and our grandson was awesome. We will miss your smile, Kathy!
