May you rest in peace. I was only 5 years old when you went to Vietnam, but I remember when you left. You were always my hero. I was very happy when you came back to New York, even though you were wounded in action. You taught me how to be a man. You were always a force to be reckoned with and anybody who met you would always say "Your Uncle Bob was one of a kind." I will always cherish the fun memories we shared together. I will miss you, but will always remember your words of wisdom.

May you rest in peace, you suffered for a long time Brother. Your struggle always pained me. We spent a lot of years together in our teens. I especially remember the weekend camping trips, even when freezing snow was predicted. Our parents thought we were sleeping in warm cabins at the Boy Scout camp when we were sleeping in two man tents atop a wooded hill.
