Sprague, Roberta, Joan, (Née Stevenson), "Bobby," passed peacefully at the age of 81. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Ronald Sprague, her siblings Helen Sgroi, Edward (Kathleen) Stevenson; her children Gail Sprague, Ke Read Obituary
The sun dimmed for us here on Earth when our beloved Aunt Bobby was called home to heaven. Aunt Bobby: on Earth, you were our angel, now, in heaven, you are everyone's angel.
Aunt Bobby--you loved deeply with your entire being, and you were so deeply loved. Your humor, loving nature, kindness and intellect endeared you to all. How blessed we are to have had you in our lives--our Aunt Bobby, the loveliest of ladies, remarkably caring, exceptionally thoughtful. We can see your brilliant smile and the sparkle in your beautiful blue eyes right now.
We will miss you greatly, but you will be in our hearts forever.

Mom, you have taught me so much throughout my life, so much so, there are not enough words to describe. What I want everyone to know is that you were a loving and caring mother to me throughout my entire life. Even when you were suffering in pain due to the many challenges you had, you found a way to continue to show me love and kindness…this is how I learned the real meaning of strength. You taught me how to be gracious and humble, although I try, I’m not sure I was a very good student (LOL, we talked about this often). I will miss our talks, it seems to me that every time we talked, I learned how to be a better person. For this I Thank You! My wonderful wife Laura said this to me recently, “When I first met your Mom, I knew her as Roberta, she quickly became my second Mom”. This to me shows everyone how special you were to all around you!

Bobby, growing up you were so athletic and a bit of a tom boy that you said dad treated you like the son he didn't have. I don't know about that, but I always thought your personality and demeanor were more like mom's. Since we we're 13 years apart, mom naturally made you do much of the "baby chores" but growing up, you always treated me as an equal and adult. For that, I thank you as it made us closer. You shaped my life more than you know. Rest in peace, Bobby. I choose to believe you are in a better place, with mom and dad, our sister Gail and will eventually be reunited with your loving family- who loved you very much.
