Have many good memories of my Aunt Ann, but one crazy story, in particular, stands out in my mind, that my mother always told us. She always talked about how my Aunt Ann chased SantiClaus in the parking lot. Santa, who was driving a mo-ped, in the shopping center's parking lot, got a real scare when my aunt chased him with her car! Think Lucille Ball, and you'll get the picture! Also, my aunt always had a funny way of expressing herself, that would make you laugh! She was always a New Yorker, at heart, regardless of how many years the south was blessed with her presence. I guess, though, after living that many years without having the neighbours right on top of you, she had forgotten about a simple New York fact, and made mention of it, while having dinner at my house. During one of her last visits to NYC, while eating dinner in my kitchen, with the windows open, she looked out and said, "Oh, I forgot how close the houses are. People can just stick their heads out the window and see what you're eating for dinner!" LOL! CRAZY LADY! We will miss you dearly! My husband nicknamed her, "The Gangster", enough said!
